I got married on the 26th of august 2006.We booked the band a year in advance. We were nervous about booking a band and wanted to get a good band because they are a big part of the day. We got The Creations from the web so we decided to go and see them. From the moment i got in contact with Pierce
through e-mail i found him very helpful and professional. We went to a wedding they were playing at to see them  from the moment the band started the floor was rocking. We had no hesitation booking them from that performance and the nerves settled down. We knew they would make the day very special.

Pierce kept in contact with us through out the year and he was always very helpful. Coming up to the wedding he went through what the band would do on the day.  We picked out our first dance song which they couldnt play and we used a cd which was great. I also asked Pierce would he play Hotel Califonia
by the Eagles. It was my dad's favourite song and unfortunately he passed away 4 years ago. They were a bit nervous playing that song because it was a long time since they played it at a wedding. They arrived on time set up and looked really well and very professional. The sound and performance was brilliant. From the minute the music started young and old were up on the dance floor. It was great to see. They played Hotel Califonia before there break they were absolutley brillant and it really made it special for me.

There break was kept short and the partying started again the minute they were back on. The compliments from family and friends were great to hear. Their feet were killing them from dancing so much. They had a great time and couldn't stop talking about the band they really made the day one to
remember.

When I saw my wedding video it was great to see everyone young and old up dancing. You could still feel the atmosphere from the video. Just want to say thanks a million to Pierce and The creations for making our day the happiest and most special day of our lifes. Would highly recommend them to any future bride and groom. They really know how to put on an excellent show!

We started to plan our wedding a year in advance and the main priority for us was the hotel and the band. The one thing we always judge a wedding on is the food and the music, so this was priority for me. I had heard about The Creations from a friend and so I checked out their website and I was delighted with the great reports I read. We contacted Pierce and he couldn’t have been nicer, we kept in touch through out the year by email with lots of questions and Pierce was so helpful and always replied and reassuring us that it would be great. Unfortunately I couldn’t make it out to see them in person so I sent the next best person for the job, my mother. She can back saying that it’s the exact type of band she would pick and they were fab. My only reservation was the size of the room, it’s a very large ball room and I have heard that it is quite a hard room to play to, as it might look empty. I needn’t have worried.

The big day came and I had changed my mind so many times about the first dance, it was only the day before we finally decided and of course Pierce had no problem with this and they were great. They had people up all night dancing and the floor was always full, they played everything to cater for all ages and even had my father up on the dance floor, this was a miracle in itself. All the generations were dancing together which was what I hoped for when planning our big day. I can honestly say that I would recommend The Creations to anyone for their wedding. They are fantastic and so helpful. Just what you need, one less thing to stress about.

When I first contacted Pierce I knew I was going to enjoy dealing with him in the run up to our wedding. Straight away he put me a ease and was happy to do anything to make our day special. Pierce was a joy to speak to and no matter how many times we changed the song for our first dance Pierce was happy to oblige. I was delighted the band were willing to learn a song which wasn't on their original play list.

When our big day arrived to say things didn't go to plan is an understatement. I was trying to stay positive and happy but things kept going wrong. But as soon as The Creations set up and started playing our song all the bad things melted away and our day was saved.

As I said my family are very hard to please but they are still talking about how good The Creations were six months later. All 200 guests were on the dance floor for the whole night, believe me there were some sore feet the next day.

We would have no hesitation recommending The Creations. They are the best band we have ever heard perform at a wedding. Pierce was the nicest person I have ever dealt with and it was a relief not to have to worry about the band. I trusted Pierce completely that every thing would be fine.

Planning a wedding for 200 people, half from New York, in Donegal is no small feat. We were fortunate enough to have come across The Creations as they made the music process very easy. After finding them through the internet, a friend of ours went to listen to them at a local wedding as we are in New York. He immediately told us how professional they were. As you know, a band can make or break a wedding and this was the biggest decision we had to make. Communicating with Pierce was very easy both through the phone and email. Despite that, as we had not heard or met them we were a little anxious as we did not really know what to expect. From the moment they stepped onstage and started playing, dressed very professionally, our anxieties instantly vanished. The Creations took hold of the crowd and had everybody dancing for the entire night. Even my friends who never dance had blisters on their feet by the end of the night! Daniel and I were thrilled with their performance on our day and everyone there agreed that The Creations are fantastic. Their attention to detail cannot be overlooked, for example, they played “ New York, New York” at the end of the night, which was a pleasant surprise that fitted our occasion perfectly. They would get a booking in New York in a heartbeat as people are still talking about them! We were especially grateful that they drove the three and a half hour journey from Dublin to Donegal for our wedding. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

I just wanted to write and thank you very much for all your help and of course for performing so wonderfully at our wedding.  As you know we were arranging our wedding from England and it was a difficult task.  I wanted you to know that I really appreciated all your help.  You truly were a star. 

Not only were you full of information regarding other wedding related issues you also made me feel very relaxed and secure in our booking.  Right from the first moment we contacted you, you have stayed in touch, you stuck to arrangements and you constantly reassured me that everything is sorted out for our big day in Kilkea.  You have no idea how much a bride appreciates that reassurance!

We first heard The Creations at a friend's wedding nearly two years ago.  When planning our own wedding we immediately thought of them as they were excellent when we first heard them, playing a great mix of songs for all age-groups.

On first contacting them, Pierce was very professional in arranging a viewing.  It took only a few minutes to decide that we definitely wanted them to play at our wedding as their quality is first rate; they seem to have a great knack of judging the mood of the crowd. 

In the run-up to our wedding, the band couldn't have been more helpful, explaining exactly how they'd set up and how long they'd play for, as well as giving us our choice of first songs to dance to.  We could have used a cd but it was much better to be able to use the band.

On the night itself, we really couldn't have asked for anything more.  They brought a great energy to their music, and the dance floor was full all night.  Many of our guests remarked afterwards on how good the band were, their instinct for matching their setlist to their audience is excellent.

I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending The Creations to any prospective bride and groom, they really are second to none.  Absolute professionals and wonderful musicians too.

The Creations played at our wedding in May 2006 and made our wedding reception more enjoyable that I could ever have imagined. We danced the night away surrounded by our family and friends, everyone smiling and having fun. We knew our choice of wedding band was critical as the bar was in a separate room to the dance floor and we were concerned that people might go into the bar for a drink and stay there. Thanks to the Creations we need not have been concerned as the dance floor was full all night! We trusted them with the play list which was the right decision as they knew exactly what songs to play to keep the crowd up dancing. Our dinner ran quite late but this wasn’t a problem as the band offered to play longer than agreed. Every guest that we have spoken to since the wedding has commented on our excellent choice of band. The Creations were extremely professional from our first contact by email to the actual wedding day. Pierce was very supportive in the days running up to the wedding when Brian was away on business and we hadn’t even chosen a song for our first dance. We would have no hesitation recommending the Creations for any wedding or function. Thanks for a FANTASTIC night guys!!

We had viewed a couple of bands before we went to see the Creations at a wedding and to be honest we only stayed for 2 songs because we knew straight away that they were exactly what we were looking for. They have so much energy, it was important to us to have a proper band playing there own instruments rather than singing along to a backing track. They played a great selection of varied music which appealed to all our guests tastes young and old.

I had concerns about organising a band as we had our wedding in a golf club so it was not your typical venue for a wedding, the room was not very big and I was afraid that the band would swamp the room and our guests may spill out of the room once the band started, but the lads were so professional they were set up quickly and had the sound perfect no one felt they had to move out.

The Creations completed our day perfectly. The ease with which they arranged everything for us, we did not once have a concern about them from my first conversation with Pierce I felt confident in them. If I was to organise another family event and needed a band I would look no further than the Creations.

Following going to a wedding to see them in action, myself and my intended had no worries about booking The Creations for our wedding on the 17th December '05 at Tinakilly house. The band were very helpful and professional coming up to the date, providing us with play lists and answering endless questions from both myself and my fiancée.

I had secretly planned in advance to play a song for my new wife and they were very helpful planning it in advance and then on the night, setting up my guitar and mic, giving advice and encouraging me when the nerves were failing before hand.

In fact the band made the night for us.

I wound up sitting in a couple of numbers with them and my
wife and her cousins joined in for a rousing rendition of "Mustang Sally" – demonstrating that my new extended family has not one note between them.

The Creations have a natural knack for finding the mood of the crowd and playing the right things to get the night going fantastically.

Everybody at the wedding had a fantastic time, and this is due in no small part the band.

I'd also like to add that they are very easy going and adapt to any situation without fuss (such as the stage being moved, or the groom forgetting the CD with the first dance on it!) and do everything to ensure a great night for everyone. I have no hesitation recommending them for any wedding or function.

We first saw The Creations in October 2004, when Pierce from the band invited my fiancé and I to check them out at a wedding in Leixlip. The guys had only played one song and we were hooked. We knew instantly that this was the right band for our wedding in September 2005.

Dealing with Pierce was an absolute pleasure. He responded positively to all my questions in the build-up to the wedding and the band even learnt our first song for the big day.

To say that The Creations made our wedding reception is an understatement. Once the first song was over the dance floor was full for the night, which I had never seen at any previous wedding. I would just like to say how you guys helped to make our wedding party an absolute craic of a night.

As we expected you and the band provided an excellent set and created a fantastic atmosphere for all of our guests. As you are aware we searched long and hard for the “Band for us” and after several visits to Ireland nearly gave in to the next best thing until we received the recommendation about the Creations. You and the lad’s did not disappoint. Your energy, Professionalism, style and not to mention absolute quality was second to none.

First of all, a HUGE thank you for providing the music at our recent wedding! We have had so many compliments from people about you guys.

Everyone thought you were brilliant - we were thrilled with the feedback we got. When we initially set about choosing a band for our wedding, we wanted someone that was going to cater to all ages and tastes and be within our budget. Also, as we were not having a DJ we were looking for a band to
provide our entertainment for the night.

From the time I made my initial enquiry, I found your service to be excellent - Pierce, you made me feel like no request was a problem. In particular, we were really impressed that you were willing to play for an extra half hour - most other bands just want to play their own time and would have refused to play for any longer.

On the night itself, the dancefloor was full all night and so many people commented on this to us. You played a range of music that suited all ages so everyone was happy! I remember noticing on the night as well that you kept your breaks short. I've been to other weddings where it seemed like the band
were constantly on long breaks!!!

When we watched the video, it was great to see everyone up dancing for the night - it was exactly what we wanted!

I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending you to anyone else - you really made our night perfect for us! Thanks again for everything!!

When my husband and myself booked our wedding date we knew the entertainment was going to be one of the key factors of the day. At first we struggled with the idea of having a DJ for the full entertainment, but this was purely for budget reasons. So we decided to listen to a few bands and see how the atmosphere etc was on the nights. We made up a short list and started to work our way around Dublin listening to them. On our list was The Creations and before we had even had a chance to listen to them my parents were at a wedding and heard them play, my mum was on the phone to me the next day highly recommending them. So we had to see them for ourselves and I organised with Pierce to see them as soon as we could.

Once we heard them play we knew they were the band for us, and threw our budget out the window. My husband particularly loves the 70's stuff, The Beatles, The Monkees etc and was thrilled that this range was covered as well as the newer music.

Pierce was great to deal with over our booking, and we never had one issue. He also organised for our first dance to be played from a CD, which was perfect. As soon as the band kicked in the dance floor filled up and we had a brilliant night. The Creations really got the crowd going with a great range of music and they made it a night to remember, we would be happy to recommend them to any future bride and grooms.

The Creations were excellent at our wedding. We booked them one year before our big day and on the night, they really made our wedding.

If wedding entertainment is not great, the atmosphere is terrible. This wasn't the case with our wedding. 160 people attended and 160 people were up dancing, singing and having great fun, thanks to the band.

It can be very daunting relying on other people when you don't really know them. With The Creations, you honestly won't have this problem - they know their music and the music business, are excellent to deal with and will guarantee one and all a great time. They also have excellent vendor recommendations if needed. Pierce will help you here no problem.

We can not praise the band enough for helping to make our night perferct.  We first heard of the band from a couple who had booked the Creations for their wedding.  After phoning Pierce we went to see the band in Sutton and needless to say we were impressed with the performance.  Pierce came to us afterwards and reassured us that they would play what we wanted in order to cater for old, young and those inbetween!

Pierce kept in contact with us before the wedding and although they didn't know the song we wanted as our first dance they said they would learn it for the night (which they did!).

On the night, The Creations managed to get everyone on the floor for the night!  The music was varied and suited all our friends and family.  Pierce managed to keep the crowd entertained not only with the music but his personalilty too! 

Towards the end of the night, they got everyone on the floor for one of our favourite songs (they didn't know that!) Amore!

Everyone spoke on the band afterwards, people mentioned to us that The Creations were the best wedding band they had heard!  We had a large mix of people of different ages and coming from all around the country and everyone agreed that the band could not have been better!

Pierce told us afterwards about an unfortunate incident re their equipment after their performance but they did not let that effect the night at all.  In fact they didn't tell us before hand so as not to panic us.

The wedding was the best day of our lives and The Creations really contributed to that!  We couldn't reccomend they highly enough.

We married on August 4th 2005 and had our reception in Killashee House Hotel. The Creations were our band and they absolutely NAILED IT!! It has occasionally been said that it's not the easiest room to play, but you'd never have known, they sounded fantastic and the dancefloor was hopping all night!

We chose The Creations having seen them play at another wedding. They were our second band to view but after just 20 minutes into their set, our search was over..we had found our band. Lively, musically and vocally talented, and armed to the teeth with a vast array of music! Given all the organisation, planning and effort that goes into a wedding we didn't want the extra burden of involving ourselves in playlists etc. It was important to us that our band would 'feed off the crowd' on the night as you would expect seasoned professionals to do. And that is exactly what they did. The music was sensational. The sound was superb. They looked like they were enjoying themselves, and our guests had a ball. We ourselves were on the dancefloor most of the night!!

The Creations are a top class band. Pierce was always so pleasant and so accommodating to deal with. A consummate professional. We are extremely delighted with our choice. They were excellent. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening!

The Creations did a wonderful job for us on the day.  We booked them purely on recommendation without actually seeing them.  But they lived up to everything we heard.  The dance floor was packed and they played music to please everyone.  We couldn't have asked for better.  Lots of people have since told me that they thought the band were excellent.

We first heard about "The Creations" back in November 2003 on Weddings Online , a lot of brides-to-be were recommending them so we went to see them play in Kilkenny, they played really well and we were happy to see the dance floor was full so I booked them there and then.  Pierce was great to deal with and was very helpful the few days before the wedding, he went through all the songs with us and we were delighted that there was such a good mixture of songs, we also had Irish dancers and a DJ and Pierce contacted them before the wedding to make sure the night would run smoothly and he certainly didn't let us down, our guests had an absolute ball and the dance floor was full for the night. There was plenty of interaction with the guests which made it extra special and I will always remember the kind words that they made about us at the end of the show.

We live in England but were able to enlist the help of my wife’s family, who live in Ireland, for most of the arrangements, but choosing the band was more difficult! We eventually went onto a wedding website and read some very positive comments about the Creations, and decided to go for it, even though we had never heard of them, and never seen or heard their music either. They were very communicative throughout the months before the wedding, both over email and phone, and turned up as promised on the night.

They put our minds to rest from the opening bars of the opening song, and the next 3 hours were a fantastic combination of old classics, newer songs, and some treats from the 80’s. Their rendition of Blur’s “Parklife” will live long in our, and our guests’, memories. They got absolutely everyone dancing, interacted with people wonderfully, and many of our guests put them down as the highlight of the wedding (surely the highlight was us exchanging our vows? No such luck!)

We saw the Creations play at my wife's cousin's wedding. When we booked them for our wedding a year and a half later we knew that they would be great.
Pierce made everything so easy and it was all taken care of via e-mail. On the night they didn't let us down as the dance floor was full all night long. My wife decided to stay dancing all night and let the guests come to her instead of the other way round. This helped to keep the dance floor full too which couldn't have happened without some great tunes from the band. They also remembered the couple from the wedding we first saw them at and mentioned how great it was to see them again. That is just the kind of quality service that made the evening so wonderful. We also booked our DJ on a recommendation from the band and he was excellent too.

A mighty thanks to the Creations for giving us a wonderful evening and we wish them all the best in the future. We will certainly spread the word.

We had been to many weddings and decided that for our wedding the band was one of the most important elements to get right. All too often you end up at weddings where no one dances and we felt this would be our worst nightmare. We also had heard from friends who had very specific tastes and they where providing lists of music etc for the first dance and also to play throughout the night. We did not want to get too involved and decided we needed to find a band that would understand our need to get people dancing but also to take the ‘hassle’ out of choosing the tunes – we wanted to leave it to the experts. We decided the best way to get a good band would be to use a friends referral. We went to see two bands which were referred and made a selection. Some weeks passed and we realised that the booking cheque for one of these groups had not been cashed so we made a call only to discover that the band had not noted our booking. This left us uneasy so we decided to cancel. This left us in a dilemma as the date was fast approaching. I used an on-line wedding search and came up with a list of bands. The Creations was one of the first bands on this list. We viewed there web page and found it very informative and very professional. We also viewed there music and we felt this was the type of music which would suit all guest no matter what age. We made a call and had the booking secured within minutes. Pierce made us feel very relaxed and took over. We told him we were not too picky over choice just as long as the Creations played a good mix of music to get the guest out of their chairs. The weeks before the wedding went very quickly and we had a few calls with Pierce. We were most impressed with the professionalism and the way he made us both feel relaxed that he was taking care of it all. The night before the wedding we had a final call with Pierce and everything was on track. We were having some issues with the Cake and Pierce put us at our ease and told us if we need any last minute assistance with any element of the wedding he had many useful contacts within wedding business he would be able to help us get sorted – this was amazing.

On the day the Creations set up on stage – they played our first song, and made such a great choice of music the guests never sat down all night. By the end of the night we had danced for hours and our feet were killing us. It was lovely to see our young friends and older family members all joining in. At the end of the night we got into a large circle and I don’t think there was anyone left in seating area. For weeks afterwards we were getting calls to say ‘I never danced that much in years’ and also ‘the choice of music was great all my favourite tunes from the past few years’. For us the Creations were the icing on the cake and made the wedding very special. What was most amazing for us was that we never saw this band before the wedding. Pierce did such a good job at making us feel relaxed and that he was in charge – it was one extra weight of our minds during this very busy time.

We would like to thank Pierce and all band members for the fun on the day, they interacted with the guests and got everyone in great humour. Fantastic band, amazing musicians and overall a top class company to work with.

Just a quick few words in thanks for the fantastic performance that the Creations put on on our wedding celebration. Throughout the whole night and indeed since we have got back from the honeymoon people have been complimenting us on the music that the band performed.

We were initially concerned we might have left booking a band a little late. Our wedding was to be in Kilkenny in 7 months time and we were based in London. We found out about the Creations through an Irish Web Site. From the outset the Creations were exceptionally professional, answering e mails promptly and inviting us to see them play at a wedding. They learnt a new song for the first dance and travelling down to Kilkenny was no problem for them. When we look back however, these seem like minor details.

Much more important was the way they played. And the songs they chose. It was quite simply fantastic. Everybody has said how much they enjoyed the dancing, and the floor was full the whole night. We thank them for being such an important part of the best day of our lives.

The Creations were superb. When we first booked them, Pierce was there to answer any queries we might have and just put us at ease. The night itself was fantastic. The guys kicked off in really good time and I can honestly say that from the moment the music started the floor was full for the night - I dont think we even got through the first song without people joining in. They played a great mix of wedding classics and modern feel good music and the atmosphere was alive. The finale was real fun and they did their very best to make us both feel really special.

We had a separate DJ to take over afterwards and the switchover from band to
dj was absolutely seamless and everyone stayed on their feet and the party continued. I would certainly recommend the Creations to future bride & grooms, both for the fun factor and their professional approach to the job. 'We heard about The Creations on the web and so went to see them in action at another couples wedding before we booked them and I have to say, we were ready to book them as soon as we reached the door. The whole place was rockin'. They were extremely professional from start to finish, and theycertainly didn't disappoint at our wedding reception either! All our guests commented on how fantastic they were and by the end of the night every single guest was on the dance floor and having an absolute ball. They helped to make our day even more special. We would highly recommend them.
